I built on the ideas from SearchFormer with a puzzle problem that was designed for a genetic algorithm. Hopefully the simplicity makes it accessible. Will continue developing but ideas / critiques are welcome. It is a bit janky, but fun to play with.

Very cool, out of interest have you tried other planning approaches (for fun?) i.e. traditional control, MCTS or RL methods?
